I have always loved art! I got my early inspiration from my Mom and Aunt. They showed me the basics and I was off on my own at a very young age. I took art every year from elementary all the way through college and never stopped creating. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Radford University in 1997. I was hired not long after that in beautiful Madison County seated at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA. I chose to live in Charlottesville, VA where my mind was opened to many different cultures and ways of thinking. I worked for Madison County Schools for 6 years in 3 different schools including the high school where I obtained most of my experience for art education. I taught private art lessons at the Orange Art Center in Orange, VA. I dabbled in abstract art forms, stained glass, and painting while living in the area.
I offer face painting for festivals, birthday parties and markets, commissioned work of all kinds and most mediums and art classes.
I am now currently working part time as a vendor for the Beaufort Farmers Market and a proud business owner of The Painting Gypsy!
